Sign Up for Red Cross Blood Drive

The Red Cross is facing its worst blood shortage in over a decade, putting patient care at risk. Since the pandemic, blood donations have dropped by 10 percent, forcing doctors to make difficult decisions about transfusions. As the supplier of 40% of the nation’s blood, the Red Cross has had to limit hospital distributions, with some hospitals receiving 25 percent fewer blood products than needed.

How You Can Help:

Donate blood at Pepperdine’s Malibu Campus from Tuesday, February 18, to Thursday, February 20, 2025.

• Time: 11 AM – 5 PM
• Location: Fireside Room, Malibu Campus
• Donation Time: Typically less than 15 minutes
