Waves of Flags Display Volunteer Opportunities

Members of the University community are invited to participate in the beloved Pepperdine tradition to raise or lower the annual Waves of Flags display in Alumni Park at the Malibu campus. While drawing local and national attention, this installation of 2,977 flags honoring those who died in the 9/11 attacks has provided comfort and hope in the field of flags waving on the campus lawn.

Opportunities and available time slots are limited and registration is required.

Flag Raising
September 8, 2021 | 4–6:30 PM
Participate in setting up the annual Waves of Flags display at Alumni Park.

Participate in respectfully removing or retiring flags at the annual Waves of Flags display at Alumni Park.
