Guest Speakers
At Pepperdine Graziadio, we welcome and encourage the opportunity to hear from thought leaders outside of our community. By including guest speakers in our events, classes, and more, we provide added value and a different perspective around meaningful, relevant topics.
In efforts with the University to standardize forms and processes across all schools, we’ve created resources to help when working with guest speakers.
Speaker Code of Ethics
During the speaker selection process, please reference the Speaker Code of Ethics prior to inviting a guest to Pepperdine. The Code of Ethics lays out clear guidelines that will help you select a speaker that will be a great representative of Pepperdine and its values. At this time, the document doesn’t need to be shared with featured guests nor are any formal signatures required.

Photo and Video Simple Release Form
If you’re planning on recording and sharing a guest speaker’s presentation beyond the classroom (ex. on Youtube, our website, via email, etc), please have all guest speakers fill out the PDF release form or online release form. Please retain a copy of the PDF for your records for one year.
Large Event Photo and Video Release
For our larger events that will be recorded and shared broadly, for example our symposiums or marquee events, please have speakers sign the Large Event Photo and Video Release form and retain it on file for one year. There are two versions, one for paid speakers which is more robust, and one for unpaid speakers that is more simplified.
