Xixi Hu Nominated for Woman of the Year by Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

Full-Time MBA student Xixi Hu has been nominated as a candidate for the 2022 Woman of the Year award by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). LLS is one of the largest non-profit organizations funding blood cancer research around the world, in addition to providing resources to patients and caregivers. This organization is important to Hu as she has watched multiple family members go through their cancer journeys.

The nomination comes with participation to bring awareness to LLS's mission and work through a fundraiser in Spring 2022. Hu's goal will be to create a senbazuru, an art piece of 1,000 origami cranes, to serve as an inspirational marker for how a community can come together to make a positive impact on those affected by cancer.
