Starting Fall 2025, we implemented a new, centralized approach to managing logistics for our Behavioral Workshops. This update ensures our internal processes are streamlined and effective. We appreciate your ongoing partnership.

Workshop & Meal Dates, Times, & Location

Meal/Snack Schedule

*Beverages will be available throughout the day for all programs. Students also have the option to use outdoor seating for meals and snacks.

Full-time programs

Workshop Supplies

Flip charts and markers are available in the designated supply closets. Please pick up what you need and return any unused items to the same location.

  • Malibu Supplies = Office 214 (open during business hours)
    • After hours, a 4-digit code (found in Wavenet) is required to access Office 214 through Suite 210.
    • To access your personalized 4 digit code:
      • Use your Pepperdine credentials to sign into Wavenet
      • Select “ID Card PIN Lookup”

Room Set Up/ Breakout Rooms

Classroom doors will be unlocked 1 hour before your workshop is scheduled to begin on Day 1.  Please feel free to arrive early to review your room setup (circle of chairs) and familiarize yourself with the space.

If you require an additional breakout room, please notify your Department Chair when you are sent your tentative schedule via ClassBase.  Late requests can be requested through the 25Live system. See instructional guide, quick video walkthrough, or select the 'Help' icon in the top right hand corner of the 25 Live system.

WLA Parking, 4th Floor Access, Student Materials

ACCESS:

If you need an access key card for the WLA campus, you can check one out from Faculty Affairs.

To get your key card, please:

This key card provides 4th floor access, but not parking.

PARKING:

WLA Parking Passes for Faculty:

  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM: Free parking passes can be obtained in Suite 200.
  • After 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday) & Weekends: Free parking passes can be obtained in Suite 100.

The Programs Office will provide parking validation passes to students.

PHOTOCOPIES (Canvas preferred):

Faculty have the option to upload workshop resources to Pepperdine Canvas so students can easily access them. If you need to make photocopies, a photocopier is available on the 1st floor in the library or on the 4th floor. Scan your Pepperdine ID or use your credentials to sign into the photocopier.  

Student Assessments

If your workshop uses a personality, leadership, or similar assessment, students should purchase it directly. Please include the purchasing details in your syllabus, just as you would for a textbook or course pack. Faculty are not permitted to collect payment from students for any course materials, including assessments. If you’d like help finding an appropriate or free alternative, please reach out to your department chair.

Hotel Reservations

Faculty members are welcome to reserve a hotel room for the workshop that is in line with school policy. Reservations should be booked directly, with reimbursement submitted afterward. The necessary chartfield strings can be found on our website in the department finance spreadsheet.
