Waves of Flags 2023: Staff & Faculty Service Day

Join Pepperdine staff and faculty members in preparation for this beloved Pepperdine tradition as they assemble flags and poles for the annual Waves of Flags display on Alumni Park. This installation of 2,977 flags honors those who died in the 9/11 attacks, draws local and national attention, and has provided comfort and hope in the field of flags waving on our campus lawn. Show your Pepperdine spirit by wearing blue and orange, and join Alumni Affairs for this rewarding service project, as they zip tie US and international flags to their poles in advance of the September Waves of Flags Raising Day. Snacks will be provided by Human Resources.

Location: Alumni Park

Age Requirements: Due to the nature of this project, children 12 years of age and older are welcome to participate.
