Plan with Confidence: Mastering Social Security and Medicare

Social Security and Medicare are guaranteed to shape your future—whether in the near term or many years from now—and understanding how they work is essential for confidently preparing for retirement. Human Resources, in collaboration with Benefit Financial Services Group, invites you to a seminar demystifying Social Security and Medicare, so that you can make informed decisions about your future and help your loved ones navigate these important benefits.

During the seminar, you will learn:

  • How to calculate your Social Security benefit and determine the optimal time to begin collecting
  • How Medicare works: what it covers, what it doesn’t cover, and how to navigate enrollment
  • Tactics to maximize your benefits and sidestep common pitfalls
  • Take advantage of this opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of these critical programs that shape your long‑term well‑being. Employees at every stage of life are encouraged to attend and start planning with confidence.

One-on-one appointments for Social Security and Medicare enrollment support will be made available to registrants at no cost, and a separate scheduling link will be provided following the session.

This session will be led by Brian McArthur, President of Design My Medicare.

Brian McArthur is widely recognized as the leading content expert on Medicare for financial advisors in the United States. With extensive expertise in both Medicare and Social Security, he is uniquely positioned as the only specialist in this space who has personally guided over 1,500 clients of financial advisors through the Medicare enrollment process.

As President of Design My Medicare—a firm that likely enrolls more clients of financial advisors into Medicare annually than any other organization nationwide—Brian has developed a proprietary planning process that integrates Medicare guidance seamlessly into comprehensive financial planning.

His work not only enhances the value financial advisors deliver to their clients but also helps foster deeper planning relationships by turning Medicare conversations into broader discussions about long-term financial goals for retirement.
