Social Media Avatars
In an effort to maintain a consistent look and feel across all of Pepperdine University's social media networks, avatars should be officially branded and created by the Integrated Marketing Communications team. To ensure correct usage of Pepperdine's brand lock-up, please refer to this page and use only approved artwork when customizing your Facebook, Twitter or other social media accounts.
- It is important to be consistent across social networks. Every profile photo should be the same. Social avatars remain as simple as possible due to the small squared/circular format of profile pictures across social networks not lending themselves to visualization of both a logo and a unit distinction.
- The social network page name is an excellent unit distinction and displays constantly together with the designated Pepperdine branded profile picture – on the own page as well as displayed on other walls/feeds.
- The cover photo/header area provides plenty of opportunity for specific Pepperdine pages to express their distinction and differentiation.
