Talk to an rIQ Friend
Want to chat about relationships? Is a friendship painfully confusing? Want to feel appreciated, heard, and empowered? Contact a Relationship IQ intern to talk about any relationship issue you're facing.
Through Friend2Friend, the rIQ interns offer help by listening, giving suggestions, offering good resources, and by being a sounding board. Look through the bios below, decide who you'd like to connect with, and email that intern. You're also welcome to connect any time with the Executive Director of the Boone Center for the Family, Dr. Kelly Maxwell Haer – kelly.haer@pepperdine.edu or 310.506.8551.
Juliette Aslanian
Hi! My name is Juliette Aslanian and I’m a junior from La Canada, California, studying Public Relations. I love quality time with family and friends, pilates and hiking, listening to music/podcasts, doing service at my church, and traveling. What I love most about Pepperdine is being by the beach in Malibu, the genuine people, and the spiritual life. I’m super happy to be part of Relationship IQ and explore what it means to not only grow in one's faith but to use it to build positive relationships with others. I want to help others do the same. You can reach out to me anytime!

Elayna McClure
My name is Elayna McClure. I am a sophomore political science major from Johnstown CO. One of the reasons I love Pepperdine is the community that made campus my home. In my free time, I like to hang out with my friends, go to the beach, and listen to podcasts. I am excited to intern with rIQ and help people learn how to make and keep meaningful and real relationships in life.

I am beyond excited to join the rIQ team and make myself available to walk with you through everything relating to campus life and relationships. Liza Shevetovska
Hey! My name is Liza, I'm a Sophomore at Pepperdine, majoring in psychology. At Pepperdine, I'm also a member of the Veritas club and a Great Books Colloquium fan! I enjoy challenging conversations and I believe in question-based learning. I came to college later than most people, and have switched life paths and countries several times after high school (willingly and circumstantial), and I feel very passionate about the self-growth that can come from changes. One of the things I enjoy most in life is conversation and connection, and one of the things I'm looking forward to at Relationship IQ the most is the opportunity to get to know the student body closer and share meaningful conversations!
