Join the Student Alumni Organization
SAO is a group of students who represent Pepperdine and plan numerous events throughout the year. These events include networking nights with students and alumni, mixers with alumni at venues across the LA area, and more. SAO members interact with alumni and students on a regular basis. SAO members are chosen based on not only their academic merit but also their ability to represent Pepperdine.
SAO consists of up to 15 members including an Executive Board and Team Members.

Team Member Position Descriptions
Operations members are responsible for administrative tasks. Responsibilities include operating the website, managing budgets, and tracking attendance at weekly meetings.
Marketing members spread the word about SAO events by updating social media and designing creative advertisements. Responsibilities generally include creating various forms of media to attract students to events.
3. Alumni Connections
Alumni Connections members are responsible for recruiting alumni to attend networking events like Night to Networks or Hang 10 Dinners. Responsibilities include emailing and calling alumni and staying in contact to maintain the student/alumni relationship.
4. Special Events
Special Events members are responsible for organizing SAO events. This involves catering, locations, and decorations for both networking events and events like Night to Network and Hang 10 Dinners.
