In 1996, Pepperdine’s business school was named the Graziadio School of Business and Management in honor of a generous endowment by entrepreneur and philanthropist George L. Graziadio and his wife Reva. The late Mr. Graziadio was the co-founder, chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Imperial Bancorp.
Over the course of its history, the business school has been shaped by its entrepreneurial heritage.
The mission of the Graziadio School of Business and Management is to develop values-centered leadersand advance responsible business practice through education that is entrepreneurialin spirit, ethical in focus, and global in orientation.
The Graziadio School is accredited by the prestigious AACSB International-The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Fewer than 5% of business schools worldwide have earned this distinguished hallmark of excellence in management education.
In collaboration with faculty and staff the Leadership Team is responsible for oversight of the school including strategic planning and implementation.
To promote staff engagement and commitment, the Staff Advisory Council (SAC) serves to facilitate communication between the staff and the leadership team, to vet staff input, to provide feedback on decisions, and to represent all staff across the Graziadio School. In order to best serve Graziadio staff needs, the SAC created a Google Community site for you to share your thoughts or suggestions with us. If you have questions, comments, or concerns about the site, please contact any Council member.
