Advancing Women in Leadership Conference

Chancellor Sara Young Jackson and Vice President Lauren Cosentino, along with Pepperdine's department of Human Resources, invite Pepperdine faculty and staff to celebrate National Women's History Month and attend the sixth annual Advancing Women in Leadership Conference, co-founded by Pepperdine University and the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU).

Following both keynote sessions, Pepperdine leaders will facilitate small group discussions with Pepperdine faculty and staff. All events are open to women and men, will be held virtually, and are free of charge.

Speaker: Nancy Koehn

Nancy Koehn

Nancy F. Koehn is a historian at the Harvard Business School where she holds the James E. Robison chair of Business Administration. Koehn's research focuses on crisis leadership and how leaders and their teams rise to the challenges of high-stakes situations. She is currently working on a major study of civil rights leaders during the late 1950s and 1960s and what we can learn today from their bravery, commitment, methods, and purpose.
