Cancer Prevention: A Comprehensive Guide
Did you know that 30-50% of all cancer cases are preventable? Prevention offers the most cost-effective long-term strategy for the control of cancer. UCLA Health's Dr. Austin Davis will discuss how you can help reduce the risk of cancer by making healthy choices, as well as the importance of following recommended screening guidelines to help detect certain cancers early.

Speaker: Austin Davis, MD
Dr. Austin Davis is a family medicine physician who practices in Simi Valley. His clinical interests are primary care and preventive medicine. He is board-certified in family medicine and sees patients of all ages. Dr. Davis received his medical degree from UCLA. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from UC Riverside. As a clinical instructor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, he enjoys mentoring and teaching undergraduates, medical students, and residency trainees.
