This webinar will explain attacker methods and motivation as well as how to "check
whether the doors and windows are locked" on your home computer, network, and remote
work office. Three major topics are covered including:

- Tools for Secure Remote Work
The latter section will show you how simple it is to use our seven remote tools to
ensure your information and passwords are safe and secure, and that you are fully
able to take advantage of the resources available to you.

Speaker: Kim Cary, Jordan Lott
Kim Cary is currently Chief Information Security Officer at Pepperdine University in Malibu,
California. His present work is focused on security policy, training and mission-friendly
information security consulting. Kim enjoys all the varied roles he has played in
security: liaison, policy champion, project manager, analyst, trainer, technical lead
and/or team member. He received his Ed.D. at Pepperdine University in 2004, M.Div.
at Biola in 1986, and a B.A. in Biology at UCLA in 1979.
Jordan Lott is the Manager of Technology & Learning and IT Training at Pepperdine University.
Jordan began his career at Pepperdine in the Audio/Visual Technologies group, managing
the day-to-day operations of the AV checkout office and training students on the ins
and outs of AV Technologies. Jordan completed his Master's degree in 2017 and then
became the Manager for IT Training, increasing the number of training classes offered
and adding new classes and custom departmental training offerings.
