Making Room: Soul-deep Satisfaction through Simple Living
At Pepperdine, we bring our whole selves to work, and we have the privilege to incorporate faith into every aspect of our lives. As we navigate a world and culture of ever-increasing demands for our attention, Human Resources invites you to a workshop with author and speaker Kyle Kramer to reflect on the ways values-based intentional living can help you connect more deeply to God, others, and yourself.
In this workshop, Kramer will share his own journey toward simplicity, and equip and empower you to:
- honor your own deepest needs,
- develop a deeper appreciation of the relationships you keep,
- bring the values of simplicity to your daily work life,
- create healthy boundaries in the digital world,
- and cherish God's gifts of the natural world.
Kyle Kramer is the Executive Director of the Passionist Earth & Spirit Center, which offers interfaith educational programming in meditation, ecology, and social compassion. Kramer also hosts the Earth & Spirit Podcast on National Public Radio, a podcast dedicated to fostering engaging conversations with change-makers working at the intersection of meditative spiritual practice, social healing, and ecology.
Please register here, as space is limited. This workshop will take place in the Fireside Room, TCC 110 on June 9 at 10 AM. Lunch will be served following the workshop at 12 PM.
