Wellness Program Policies
ELIGIBILITY: Individuals employed by Pepperdine University in a regular staff, faculty, or administrative position are eligible to participate in the Professional Development Program, provided supervisory approval is obtained in advance.
INSTRUCTORS: Instructors for these workshops will be selected professionals from the business community at large and Pepperdine faculty and staff.
COST: The University assumes the cost of most workshops offered through the Wellness Program, unless otherwise indicated. The cost includes instruction and course materials. Meals are not provided unless specifically noted in the course description. Participation in most workshops is considered as time worked and is paid accordingly with the exception of Lunch and Learn programs. Lunch and Learn programs are not considered paid time.
Faculty/Staff are eligible for a 50% subsidy for Campus Recreation classes if a minimum number of classes are attended throughout a semester.
CANCELLATIONS: If you must cancel a reservation please try to do so no later than three working days prior to a workshop. An alternate participant is welcome to attend, provided Human Resources is notified in a timely manner.
