2026 Annual Pepperdine Technology Survey
Your voice matters: let it be heard

Overview
The Pepperdine IT department is excited to announce that its 17th Annual Technology Survey will launch on March 16 and remain open for responses until April 3. This survey is a crucial part of our annual strategic planning process, and it's your chance to shape the future of technology at Pepperdine. We will reach out to a randomly selected group of students, faculty, and staff across the University to gather your invaluable insights.
Why Your Feedback is Essential
Listening to your feedback and turning it into practical improvements is at the heart of what we do. The Technology Survey helps us assess the quality of our IT services and understand needs in key areas, including:
- Connectivity, Access, and Security
- IT Support, Training, and Communication
- Collaboration Technologies and Learning/Meeting Spaces
- Artificial Intelligence
Your Feedback in Action
The data we collect from the survey directly influences our priorities for the next academic year. Here are just a few examples of how your past feedback has led to real change:
- Transition to Canvas LMS: In past annual surveys, you asked for a more robust learning management system. This past Fall 2025, we transitioned to Pepperdine Canvas, enhancing the teaching and learning experience.
- Classroom AV and Wireless Network Upgrades: Your feedback highlighted the need for updated classroom technology and a stable wireless network. We listened and allocated resources to make these improvements.
- 2016 Google Workspace Rollout: Based on community feedback for more user-friendly and collaborative tools, we implemented Google Workspace for Education, including Gmail, Drive, Calendar, and more.
