Mission
The Health Law Society is a group of students interested in the current state of the legal order, such as health policy, federal or state health agency work, bioethics, reproductive rights, insurance disputes, medical malpractice, or clinical research legal order. Health law is an incredibly diverse field.
The purpose of the Health Law Society is to promote an awareness of these principles and to further their application through a variety of organizational sponsored activities. We want to invite experts to campus for speaking events, discussions, and debates relevant to health law. This entails reordering priorities within the legal system to place a premium on individual liberty, traditional values, and rule of law. It also requires restoring the recognition of the importance of these norms among lawyers, judges, law students, and professors. In working to achieve these goals, the Health Law Society will work to create an intellectual network that extends to all levels of the legal community.
