Recreational Facilities

Students, staff and faculty can recreate at and enjoy several different facilities on campus year-round. In addition to the main fitness facilities on campus, there are spaces to play a variety of sports such as tennis, pickleball, sand volleyball and more.

Recreational Facility Schedules

  Basketball Open Rec

Open-court basketball is available at the Track Basketball half-court & the Towers Basketball full-court. These facilities are typically open daily from 10am-10pm except in case of scheduled University events.

  Volleyball Open Rec

Campus Recreation offers open-gym volleyball at Firestone Fieldhouse in the fall and spring semesters and is open to the entire Pepperdine community. No signups or pre-registration is required and all equipment is provided! Just bring your Pepperdine ID for on-site check-in and have fun!

  • Wednesdays: 9pm-midnight*

*Some exceptions apply due to athletics competitions and visiting team practices. All changes to the open-gym schedule are posted on the intramurals webpage - scroll down to the “News” Section for the appropriate updates.

  Tennis and Pickleball Open Rec

The PCH Tennis and Pickleball Courts are located just below Alumni Park and are open to the entire Pepperdine community. There are 10 total tennis courts and 8 pickleball courts. Equipment is not provided on-site, but you may rent tennis and pickleball equipment for free through the Campus Rec department. Additionally the courts are open year-round except during any Athletics and/or Campus Rec team practices, matches and other University special events.

  Pool Hours

The Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool is run by Pepperdine Athletics and hosts regular open hours for Pepperdine community members which can be viewed on their website here.
