Fitness and Wellness

Students, Faculty, and Staff

Students, faculty, and staff will scan their Pepperdine ID Card upon entry to the Pepperdine Fitness Center. As long as a current waiver is on file and the expiration date on the ID Card has not been surpassed your entry will be permitted.

Guest Pass

Guest Passes are not available in our facilities and must be obtained by the guest's host in advance. A host's failure to obtain a guest pass during TCC 210 suite open hours does not obligate Campus Recreation staff to grant entrance to guests who attempt to enter the facilities without a guest pass.

Alumni have the same usage privileges they had as a student for one year after graduation if they present an Alumni card, which can be obtained in the Alumni office

Fitness Centers

We offer four fitness centers on campus. The Pepperdine Fitness Center is our largest facility and is open to all students, faculty, and staff. The Cage is a semi outdoor workout facility that is located at the far end of the Harilela Tennis Stadium and has open gym hours for all students, faculty and staff. The workout facilities at Drescher and Seaside residence halls are restricted to residents at those locations.

Fitness Classes

We offer a variety of fitness classes for individuals of all levels. From cycling to Yoga to strength training, the Group Fitness program has something for everyone! Classes are located in the Harilela International Tennis Stadium Fitness Center (under the tennis bleachers) or in The Cage (on the other end of the tennis courts under the white canopy roofs). Classes are FREE to all students.

Nutrition and Massage Services

Stress-relieving one-hour or half-hour massages, and one on one nutritional counseling and nutritional group presentations are offered on the Malibu campus. Visit the Student Health Center for more details.
