Planning Resources

A successful event starts with thoughtful planning. Once your event has been submitted and scheduled through 25Live, use the resources on this page to coordinate the details needed to create a safe, welcoming, and well-executed event.

Event organizers are responsible for identifying their event needs, completing applicable forms and approvals, coordinating with campus partners, and ensuring that event plans comply with University policies and requirements. The resources below are designed to guide you through that process and connect you with the people and services available to help.

Event Planning Guide

Your comprehensive guide to planning an event at Pepperdine. The Event Planning Guide outlines important planning considerations, University standards, best practices, and campus resources to help you navigate the process from initial planning through event day.

Event Planning Checklist

Already familiar with the planning process? Use the Event Planning Checklist as a streamlined companion to the Event Planning Guide to track important tasks, deadlines, and planning considerations as your event approaches.

Campus Partner & Forms

Event planning at Pepperdine is a collaborative effort. Use the Campus Partner Resource Guide to identify the University departments that support common event needs, find relevant forms and processes, and determine who to contact for assistance.
