Major Purchases Financial Education Session

Human Resources is pleased to partner with University Credit Union (UCU) to bring you a financial education workshop on major purchases on August 29, 12 - 1 PM.

Are you considering purchasing a home or a car, traveling abroad, or planning for a wedding? If so, this session is for you. Attend this session to learn from University Credit Union representative, Sheena Barlow, on preparing for these significant financial decisions. At the session, you will learn:

• Steps to take in preparation for a major purchase
• Financing options for purchasing homes and cars
• How budgeting now benefits major purchases to come in the future

At the session, lunch will be provided. Following the session, Sheena will be available for individual consultations on any finance related topics. You may sign up for those sessions here. Additionally, UCU will be on campus each month to offer individual consultation sessions on financial topics including, but not limited to: budgeting, credit scores, and major purchases.
