Service Drive with Food Share Ventura County
Food Donation Drive
As we prioritize service awareness, we ask that you take a moment to consider ways in which you may celebrate a renewed sense of giving. Giving back to the community provides us with a sense of purpose and fulfillment. We have partnered with Food Share, a local nonprofit organization serving Ventura County. Food Share has been providing meals for individuals experiencing food insecurity since 1978. Today, staff and volunteers distribute more than 17 million pounds of food, or more than 20 million meals annually through its 190 pantry and program partners. We are excited to invite you to support Food Share by participating in our food drive!
We have set up donation bins around Pepperdine Campuses for you to drop off your food donations for Food Share.
Donation bins are available at the following locations until Wednesday, April 12:
- Human Resources Lobby, Suite 120
- CCB, 3rd Floor
- Caruso School of Law, Suite 202
- DFS Pad, Breakroom
- Drescher Library, Circulation Desk
- Payson Library, Circulation Desk
- West Los Angeles Campus, 2nd Floor Reception
- Calabasas Campus, Reception
- Irvine Campus, Main Reception
Most requested items for donation:
- Canned protein (chicken, tuna, ham, beef)
- Peanut butter
- Cereal
- Canned soup
- Rice & pasta
- Dried beans
- Canned fruit & veggies
- Dried fruit
Partnering with Food Share is an excellent opportunity to embody Pepperdine's Christian values while exuding purpose and leadership through selfless acts of service. Please take advantage of our donation bins to contribute to Food Share!
