Living Trusts: University Credit Union and Affinity Trusts Workshop

What is a living trust?

A living trust is designed to allow for the easy transfer of the trust creator's assets, while bypassing the complex and expensive legal process of probate. Living trust agreements designate a trustee who holds legal possession of assets and property that flow into the trust.

During this webinar, attendees will learn:

  • Why a living trust is so important for homeowners
  • The difference between a living trust and a will
  • How to avoid the costly, public, and time-consuming probate process
  • How to plan for incapacity, protect your family and your assets
  • How to safeguard minor children and special-needs dependents

For more information on estate planning and trusts, please view this attachment.

Employees will have the option to attend this event on either date, as the content will remain the same. Registrants will receive the Zoom link for the webinar one hour prior to the start of each session.
