As the University's Controller, Laura Ponder is responsible for the oversight of Pepperdine’s financial reporting and accounting, finance operations, payroll, and tax functions. Prior to joining Pepperdine, she had a successful career as a Finance Director at University of Southern California. Mrs. Ponder obtained her CPA license during her time as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, serving a variety of higher education clients. She earned her BA in Economics from the University of California Santa Barbara, and her Finance MBA from Pepperdine University.
