Public Service Loan Forgiveness Waiver

DEADLINE IS OCTOBER 31,2022

Did you borrow a federal student loan?  If so, you may be able to benefit from temporary changes made to the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.  The PSLF Program forgives the remaining balance on your Direct Loans after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan while working full-time for a qualifying non-profit employer.

Under the limited PSLF waiver, federal student loan borrowers can receive credit for payments that previously did not qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) or Temporary Expanded Public Service Loan Forgiveness (TEPSLF).

The PSLF Help Tool can assist with the application process. Please contact MOHELA, the PSLF servicer, if you have questions regarding the PSLF program.
