Sleep and Wellness
In this informative session, Joshua Roland, MD, a Sleep Medicine specialist at UCLA Health, will provide basic information on the importance of sleep to the body, followed by a brief and general classification of the most common sleep disorders. Dr. Roland will also describe what can be done to achieve healthy sleep and how to improve sleep with respect to overall wellness.

Speaker: Joshua Roland, MD
Dr. Joshua Roland is a sleep medicine physician who practices in downtown LA. He focuses on comprehensive sleep medicine and improving health and wellness through better sleep. His clinical expertise includes sleep apnea and other sleep-disordered breathing, central disorders of hypersomnolence, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, parasomnias, and circadian rhythm disorders. He is board-certified in family medicine in addition to sleep medicine and sees both adult and pediatric patients.
