Virtual Pacific Crest Trail: The Journey Continues

Campus Recreation is excited to announce the 2nd Annual Virtual Pacific Crest Trail event. The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) is a 2,650 mile long hiking trail from the border of Mexico to the border of Canada. Last year, Pepperdine Community members (students, faculty, staff) virtually hiked from Mexico to Yosemite (942 miles), and this year we are continuing on the trail from Yosemite to the border of Washington state (1,205 miles).

Who: All current students, faculty and staff. Teams of 6-10 individuals
When: This event will run from February 1- April 10.
How: Each week, individuals will record how many miles they have engaged in fitness or outdoor activities for credit toward PCT trail mileage. The goal is to hike the 1,205 mile section of the PCT with the cumulative mileage of your team.
