Prevention Education Committee

As the Title IX Education Committee, we want to assure you that educating students, staff, and faculty on sexual violence is a top priority of Pepperdine University. Our committee is a group of students, staff and administrators representing the five schools that meet several times a year to review, strategize, and implement educational programs for students. Our most important educational goal is to convey how seriously Pepperdine University views sexual assault. It is our goal that each member of our community would know the basic definitions and dynamics involved in sexual misconduct, that there are people at the University prepared to receive reports from victims, and that there are resources available to support victims. Additionally, we strive to encourage each community member to take personal responsibility to Step Up! against sexual violence.
