FEMBA Pathways FAQs
Read answers to common questions about the FEMBA Pathways Program.
Students should apply the trimester prior to graduating from the BSM Program to allow ample time to process their application.
All students must complete a global business requirement. Each concentration has a different class that will fulfill the requirement. Please refer to the academic catalog to see which classes will fulfill the global business requirement for your concentration.
Students must earn between a 3.0 - 3.39 cumulative GPA in the BSM program and have a minimum of three years of work experience to be eligible to apply. Current BSM students may apply upon completing a minimum of 40 units in the program. BSM alums need to apply and start the program within 5 years of graduating from the BSM program.
Students are able select a concentration in the following areas:
- Business Analytics
- Digital Innovation and Information Systems
- Dispute Resolution
- Entertainment, Media, and Sports
- Entrepreneurship
- Finance
- General Management
- Global Business
- Leadership and Managing Organizational Change
- Marketing

Students that earned a GPA of 3.1 thru 3.3 may qualify to waive units from the Pathway Program. Please contact your Academic Advisor to set up an appointment for your curriculum and which classes may be waived. A grade of "B" or higher must have been earned at the BSM level for the courses that are waived. BSCI 650, BSCI 651, GSBM 670X, STGY 659, may not be waived and must be taken in the Pathway Program.
Students may complete a second concentration through the MBA Plus Program. Pathway graduates will receive a 75% discount on tuition for the first 4 units and a 25% discount on additional units taken per academic year. Classes are offered on a space available basis only.
