If you started the program prior to Fall 2019, please contact your Student Success Advisor for a curriculum worksheet reflecting your program start term.

Concentrations

Students must complete 12 units from an emphasis of choice in order to declare a concentration. The following concentrations are available online:

  • Digital Innovation and Information Systems
  • Finance
  • General Management
  • Leadership and Managing Organizational Change
  • Marketing

Students must maintain a cumulative program GPA of 3.0 throughout the duration of the program.

If the student's GPA falls below a 3.0, the student is placed on academic probation. While on probation, the students will have a reduced course load of 4 units until the student earns a minimum cumulative program GPA of 3.0.

If a grade of C- or lower is earned in a core course, students repeat the course. If a grade of C- or lower is earned in an elective course, students enroll in another elective course of the same unit equivalency.

As a member institution of Beta Gamma Sigma International, Pepperdine selects the top 20% of graduate-level students to join the prestigious honor society. For expected graduates of Fall 2017 and beyond, invitations will be sent to those whose cumulative program GPA falls within the 20% threshold. The GPA review takes place during the final trimester of enrollment, encompassing grades that have officially posted on a student's record to date. Courses that are "in progress" at the time of the GPA review will not be considered for the purposes of determining the list of invitees to the Beta Gamma Sigma induction ceremony. The opportunity to join the honor society will be extended to any additional graduates who may become eligible for membership after all grades have posted.
