Accessibility Certificate

Accessibility Certificate: Supporting All Learners to perceive, use, and understand class content.

Overview

The Accessibility Certificate program, created by Pepperdine Technology & Learning, is a two-day, hybrid program designed to provide detailed information and hands-on activities about the following:

  • The history of accessibility
  • Creating accessible documents in Microsoft Word and Google Docs
  • Creating accessible Google Slides presentations
  • Using the accessibility checkers in Courses, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Creating accessible video content in Zoom and Panopto

Prerequisites

All Pepperdine University faculty are welcome! To make the most of this certificate program, please have basic familiarity or access to the following:

  • Laptop computer (Mac or PC)
  • Courses LMS
  • Pepperdine Zoom
  • Microsoft Office 2016 or higher
  • Adobe Acrobat Pro

Day 1: July 5, 2023
