The Housing Portal opens on March 15 at 9 AM for students to submit their 2024-2025 academic year housing applications! Graduate student housing applications will be accepted and offered on a rolling basis through the summer. 


New Graduate School of Education and Psychology Students

Congratulations on your admission to the Graduate School of Education and Psychology! New graduate students who are admitted must follow these steps to apply for housing:

  1. Complete the "Intent to Enroll" form provided by the Graduate School of Education and Psychology and submit it with your tuition non-refundable deposit. If you have questions regarding this step, contact gsep-admissions@pepperdine.edu.
  2. All Graduate School of Education and Psychology students who wish to live in campus housing are required to make a non-refundable $500 housing prepayment to their student account. To submit a prepayment visit Graduate School of Education and Psychology | Student Accounts.
  3. To apply for housing, visit the Housing Portal to submit a housing application and sign the contract.
  4. After completing the application, the Housing Office will send housing offers via email on a rolling basis based on the space available.

Returning Graduate School of Education and Psychology Students

For Graduate School of Education and Psychology students who wish to apply for housing, please follow the steps below:

  1. To apply for housing, visit the Housing Portal to submit a housing application and sign the contract.
  2. After completing the application, the Housing Office will send housing offers via email on a rolling basis based on the space available.

Frequently Asked Questions

  Am I guaranteed on-campus housing if I submit my housing application?

No, but we are committed to having graduate students on campus to the greatest extent possible.

  If I do not receive placement on campus, will my $500 housing prepayment be refunded?

Yes, if you do not receive an on-campus housing placement, you will be refunded in full to your student account.

  When is the deadline to apply for housing?

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. 

  Can I select my roommate?

Yes, you may request a roommate group of up to 4 people within your housing application. Please note, however, that we cannot guarantee to meet all roommate requests.

  Where will I live? 

Graduate School of Education and Psychology students live in the Drescher Campus Apartments.

  How do I cancel my housing application?

Visit the Housing Portal or email our office at housing@pepperdine.edu to cancel your housing application. Please note that cancellation fees may apply.

  I need a housing accommodation next year. How does this impact my housing?

All students in need of accommodations must work through the Office of Student Accessibility (OSA). For more information and deadlines, please visit our Student Accessibility webpage. Please note that students who currently have accommodations must annually renew and update their accommodations.

Students with approved housing accommodations will follow the standard housing application process. Housing and Residence Life (HRL) and OSA will work with students to address the specifics of their accommodation, based on availability.

  How do I select a meal plan?

Students interested in purchasing a meal plan can do so by emailing housing@pepperdine.edu with their request!
