As Director of Housing, Robin provides oversight for all housing operation processes to Pepperdine's Malibu campus residential community of 2600 students in 26 residential communities for undergraduate and graduate populations. This includes supervision of personnel, administration of room assignments, meal plans, billings, and accommodations, review and final appeal for exemptions, fiscal oversight, residential facility management, programmatic development, review and updates to policies and procedures, and response to critical incidents. Additionally, Robin serves as a member on the Student Care Team.

Robin is a Wisconsin native where she received her bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, her masters in Student Affairs Administration from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, and is currently deep in the dissertation process of finishing her doctorate in Educational Leadership in Higher Education from Edgewood College, Madison, WI. Now in her 18th year of working in higher education within housing and residence life, Robin is passionate about women's issues, student development, spiritual development, and health and nutrition. Prior to Pepperdine, Robin was employed at UW-Platteville as the Assistant Director for Residence Life in charge of Resident Assistant selection, hiring, training, diversity education for residential communities, living and learning communities and interest communities, Resident Director training and supervision, and residential conduct adjudication.

She is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys running, hiking, and spending time at the beach with husband Craig and children Seth and Aaron and enjoys visits from children Cole (UW-Platteville), and Emma (recent graduate from Winona St.).

Luke received his bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from Oklahoma Christian University, a master's degree in education with an emphasis in college student affairs at Azusa Pacific University, and a certification in dispute resolution from the Straus Institute at the Pepperdine School of Law.

Born and raised in Southern California, Luke's favorite baseball team is the Los Angeles Dodgers. He enjoys traveling and hiking with his wife, Whitney and his daughter Norah and son Kellan. When asked what the most fulfilling aspect of his job is, Luke replied, "getting to know students and helping them see their full potential."

Jesse received his bachelor's degree in telecommunications at Pepperdine University.

Born and raised in California, Jesse spends his free time motorcycling, working on his computer, and anything that involves the great outdoors. He insists, "One of these days, I am even going to pick up surfing!"

If Jesse could have given himself a piece of advice back in college, he would have said, "Academics are important, but make sure you have fun and enjoy your college experience. You need a balance."

Phil serves as Assignment Coordinator for Housing and Residence Life (HRL) at Pepperdine University. He is responsible for occupancy assignments and management of early arrivals, emergency spaces, and open rooms. Phil is also a member of HRL's Board of Review.

Phil earned his bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts at Seaver College. Before joining the HRL staff, Phil worked at the University in various capacities including the office of Human Resources, International Programs, Jumpstart, and Special Programs.

He is passionate about developing and cultivating meaningful relationships with members of the Pepperdine community. Outside of the office, Phil enjoys going to the theater and spending time with his wife.


Hannah Novak

Hannah claims Michigan as her home state but grew up in small towns all over the Midwest before her family finally settled in Texas. She earned her bachelor's degree in Interpersonal Communication from Seaver College, studying abroad for one year in Florence and serving for three years with Campus Ministry. 

Hannah serves as Office Manager, overseeing office operations, managing communications by overseeing the Marketing Coordinator and Administrative Assistant for Daily Operations, and collaborating with the offices of Student Accessibility and Facilities Services to meet housing needs for students with disabilities. 

She is passionate about serving students by sharing her love for communication, spiritual development, and social justice. Outside of the office, Hannah enjoys taking road trips, visiting her family in Dallas, and experiencing all the great food that LA has to offer.

 


Lucy Man

Lucy serves our office by creating marketing materials and managing our website and social media platforms. She brings her background as a Resident Advisor to her role of sharing the value of living in an on-campus community with our students and parents. She received her degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from Seaver College and is excited to meet new people in her role while continuing to cultivate her relationships within the Pepperdine Community!

Raised in Los Angeles, Lucy enjoys painting, reading, and re-watching her favorite television shows. 


Savannah Walker

Born into a Navy family, Savannah moved often and has lived in California, Florida, Maine, Hawaii, and Mississippi. She now considers California home, and is delighted to be back working at the Malibu campus.

Savannah received her bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts at Pepperdine University in 2017.

In her free time, Savannah enjoys spending time with her husband, sightseeing, trying new restaurants, and listening to new music. Savannah is passionate about political activism and social justice issues, and especially enjoys listening to and engaging in political and religious dialogue.


John Kramarczyk

John Kramarczyk was born and raised in Northern Illinois, where he spent most of his life and career at Samsung Electronics America across Northern Illinois and Iowa. In 2017, he made a transition to work in the public sector for the Illinois Attorney General's Office. John studied Business and Theology at Oral Roberts University where he met his wife, a current Pepperdine Law student, and made the move to Pepperdine University after recently getting married. John enjoys traveling, ice hockey, cooking, and spending time with his wife Ginsey.
