Courses Upgrade August 16, 2023
Upgrade Details
On Wednesday, August 16, 2023, Technology and Learning will be upgrading our Courses LMS to Sakai 22. The upgrade comes with several enhancements for the Assignments, Calendar, Lessons, and Rich Text Editor, as well as performance and stability enhancements and important security updates.
IMPORTANT: Class site content will stay intact! Ongoing classes and new classes will not skip a beat, as all the content for each class will be retained.
When
- Day: Wednesday, August 16, 2023
- Times: 4:00 AM to noon Pacific
- Duration: Up to eight (8) hours
New Features
This update provides improved performance and feature enhancements, including:
- Lessons: New "Page Layout" options
- Calendar: Improved design
- Rich Text Editor: A streamlined editor (with an option to expand for all features)
- Rubrics: Export rubrics as PDF files
- Assignments: New "Video Submission" option
- Performance and stability enhancements
- Security updates
Clear Your Browser Cache
After the upgrade, be sure to clear your web browser cache. This is critically important!
