Madrid Upper Division Spanish Summer Program
Madrid Upper Division Spanish program is specifically designed to take students to their next level of Spanish language acquisition and cultural understanding through full immersion.
- All students sign a pledge to only speak Spanish throughout the program
- Students live in Spanish homestays and commute to the academic center which is in the heart of Madrid, Spain
- Classes are taught by Pepperdine as well as faculty from our partner institution
- Students take classes with other Pepperdine students and have the opportunity to meet other study abroad students who also study at the Madrid study center
- Classes take place in the study center Monday through Thursday and field trips and other activities take place on Fridays and some weekends
- Field trips include site visits within Madrid, a multi-day excursion, and single day excursions to places like Toledo and Cordoba
