George Page Apartments: D and E Block

Built in 1996, the George Page Residential Complex is organized into four blocks of apartments situated around a grassy courtyard. D-Block and E-Block contain two-bedroom apartments where Seaver College juniors and seniors typically live. All residents have access to George Page Commons which contains sofas, a television, restrooms, a large patio area, resident mailboxes, tables, and chairs. 

Furnishings

Each apartment* typically contains:

  • A furnished double-occupancy bedroom with closets. Each resident is typically provided with an extra-long twin bed, a desk pedestal, three stackable drawers, and a desk with chair.
  • An apartment bathroom containing two sinks, one shower, and one toilet.
  • A kitchen equipped with a gas stove and oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and a sink with disposal. Apartment residents are welcome to bring a microwave.
  • A living room furnished with a couch, coffee table, end table, and dining table with chairs.
  • View a floorplan of a two-bedroom apartment in George Page (D-block and E-block).

Please note that apartments in George Page D-block and E-block are not air-conditioned.

Amenities

Residential amenities include utilities (electric/gas/water), high-speed internet, and an on-site laundry room with a washer/dryer. Residents are welcome to utilize campus shuttles for transportation to key locations around the Malibu campus. An off-campus Malibu shopping shuttle is also available to take students to nearby shopping locations. For students with vehicles, on-campus parking permits are attainable by registering through the Department of Public Safety. Residents with parking permits may park in the two lots adjacent to the George Page Residential Complex as well as in additional lots throughout campus.

Within the Pepperdine community, residents have quick and easy access to community rooms, courtyards with grills, academic facilities (e.g., library, classrooms), and dining venues, including some late-night options. Students also have access to a variety of fitness centers, recreational courts (basketball, tennis, volleyball, track), walking/hiking trails, and a pool/spa! The Pepperdine Malibu campus is a gated community with a guard booth and is patrolled 24/7 by the Department of Public Safety. 

The Caruso School of Law Cafe

During weekdays, the Caruso School of Law Cafe, located across the street in the Caruso School of Law building, offers a variety of hot meals, made-to-order sandwiches, prepared foods, and drinks. Student meal plans can also be used at fresh-food vending machines across campus.

  How much does housing cost?

  Am I required to have a meal plan?

Depending on student classification and residential area, students may be required to enroll in a meal plan. View our meal plan requirements online or contact the Housing Office with any questions.

  Can I bunk, raise or loft my bed?

To raise or loft beds speak with your resident advisors about getting the necessary tools and parts or contact the Housing and Residence Life office.

  Am I allowed to stack my bed on top of furniture?

No. Due to safety concerns, residents may not stack their beds on top of the furniture.

  Is there air conditioning?

The majority of living areas at Pepperdine are not air-conditioned with the exception of Drescher W Block. Residents are not allowed to install air conditioners of any kind. Portable fans are allowed as long as the window screen remains in the window. Nothing can extend from the window or the building.

  What am I allowed to put on the walls of my room?

You may hang items on your walls by using small nails, tacks, or putty only. No screws or bolts are allowed. Do not hang items from your ceiling. TV or surfboard mounts are not allowed. Surfboards may be stored in the common living area.

  Can I mount my TV on the wall?

No. TV mounts, large screws, nails, or bolts are not allowed.
