Korea: Communication, Culture, & Corporations

The Korea C3 Summer Program offers students an immersive opportunity to explore the rich intersections of communication, culture, and corporations in South Korea and East Asia. The program takes place in Seoul, one of the most significant economic and cultural hubs in Asia, and includes trips and activities in other regions of interest throughout South Korea. Through academic coursework, curated excursions, and culturally immersive experiences, students will deepen their understanding of East Asia’s historical and social dynamics, develop intercultural competence, and engage with global business and marketing communication. The program also challenges students to consider the complexities of communication in a globalized world, equipping them to think critically about cross-cultural engagement in both professional and personal contexts.
This program is designed to:
• Foster cultural humility and increase competence in intercultural communication
• Demonstrate an understanding of the region’s historical, cultural, and social dynamics
• Provide academic and professional development in global business and marketing communication
