M. S. in Applied Finance Program Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the M. S. in Applied Finance program, students will be able to:

Goal 1: Financial Analysis

  1. Draw conclusions from a detailed financial and accounting analysis of a company to recommend courses of action
  2. Assess how the external economic and global environment affects firm performance

Goal 2: Financial Management

  1. Present a financial topic in a clear, professional, and organized manner
  2. Integrate concepts from multiple business disciplines to evaluate investment proposals

Goal 3: Responsible Decision Making

  1. Evaluate consequences of ethical dilemmas in business situations
  2. Analyze data to support decision-making within a business setting
