University Holiday Schedule

We are pleased to inform you of the following paid holidays which the University has approved for all regular employees. Part-time regular staff will receive pro-rated holiday pay.

 EMPLOYEE'S BIRTHDAY* - SUSPENDED FOR THE 2021 CALENDAR YEAR

*This holiday is granted to benefit-eligible staff working 30 hours a week or more who have completed 90 days of service. It must be taken on a normal work day in the same calendar month in which their birthday falls. The date must be requested with their Supervisor at least two weeks in advance of the requested day.

Floating Holidays

In addition, two floating holidays during each calendar year are available to regular staff employees after the initial six months of employment. Supervisory approval must be obtained at least two weeks in advance. It will be the duty of each supervisor to ensure the employee completes the appropriate time record.
