Waves of Gratitude: Ripples of Inspiration

Recognition and appreciation are at the heart of who we are as the Pepperdine community, reflecting our motto: “Freely ye received, freely give” (Matthew 10:8). Waves of Gratitude is a peer-to-peer recognition program designed to make it simple and rewarding to celebrate the everyday contributions, kindness, and achievements of our faculty and staff.

The form and feed below seeks to empower employees at every level of the University to recognize each other  for the positive impacts they make. You might choose to recognize a colleague because of a small act of kindness, going above and beyond in their role, accomplishing a major task, or showing support to a teammate. Together, these notes of recognition build a culture of gratitude and community that makes Pepperdine stronger.

How It Works

  1. Submit the Recognition Form: Use the online form above to share your appreciation.
  2. Recognition Feed: Notes of recognition are quickly reviewed and appear on the feed below for the whole community to celebrate.*
  3. Recognition Raffles: Both the giver and receiver of recognition will automatically be entered into quarterly raffles for fun prizes, including $100 local restaurant gift cards.**
