Workers' Compensation
Pepperdine University has complete Workers' Compensation coverage for all of its employees who are injured or become ill because of the job. This coverage is provided at no cost to the employees.
Employees must report any work-related injury or illness to their supervisors and the Human Resources office as soon as possible to ensure proper medical treatment.
Salary coverage protection is mandated by state law at the rate of 2/3 of regular
salary or the state maximum, whichever is less. It is the supervisor's responsibility
to notify Human Resources on the day on which a work-related injury or illness occurs.
