How to Reserve Tabling

Only recognized student organizations and University departments may table on the Malibu campus. In order to reserve tabling, groups must follow the below step process.

  Clubs and Organizations
  1. Log in to your Peppervine account using your CAS Wavenet login.
  2. Create an event through your organization. Only officers/EBoard members can create an event.
  3. Input capacity number as 0 (zero).
  4. Select the "Book Room" function and type in "Tabling" in the search tab.
  5. Select whatever tabling option is available.
  6. Submit the event. Please note that if the event/form is not submitted, the space will not be reserved.
  7. Fill out the Warehouse form and submit it to the Inter-club Council (ICC) at iccgeneral@pepperdine.edu. Be sure to put the correct location that you reserved.
  8. Note: Students are not allowed to submit tabling requests via 25Live. Any group that fails to use Peppervine may result in losing the opportunity to table.
  Departments
  1. Log in to 25Live.
  2. Select "Location" and type in "Tabling" in the search bar.
  3. Select the dates and times you would like to reserve the tabling location.
  4. Once the tabling location is confirmed, staff and faculty can submit the Warehouse request form to events.setup@pepperdine.edu.
  5. Groups will receive an email on the Friday before their reservation to confirm exact locations.
  6. Note: Staff and faculty must submit both the reservation on 25Live and the Warehouse request. Groups not completing both steps may result in losing the opportunity to table.

Student Activities partnered with Fire, Life, and Safety, Facilities, and Warehouse Services to create designated tabling locations on campus. There are tabling locations in Upper and Lower Mullin Town Square, Adamson Plaza, and in the Waves Cafe.

Tabling Policies

  • Only recognized student organizations and departments can table on-campus.
  • Groups must reserve a tabling location and submit a Warehouse request for the tables, chairs, and canopies.
  • Groups may not move or create tabling locations.
  • If groups are playing music, the music must be free of profanity and vulgar language, and the noise level must be at an ambient level.
  • Usage of a microphone is discouraged; if a group chooses to use a microphone, it must be at an ambient level, and no vulgar language or profanity may be said over the microphone.
  • Organizations may incur a $100 fine and lose the privilege of having background music while tabling in the quad if the sound level and song choices are not carefully monitored.
  • No outside groups can table on campus without a department hosting them. If a department would like to serve as a host, it must remain present at all times while the outside group is on-campus.
  • All added structures, letters, or activities happening outside of the tabling area must not impede walking paths or impact other groups tabling.
  • Groups are responsible for cleaning up any trash, decorations, and other items that are a result of tabling.
