Interested in becoming a leader on campus? Here are some student leadership opportunities in Student Activities.
Orientation Coordinator (OC)
OCs are responsible for elements of orientation planning and implementation, OL training, and information sessions. Students must have served as an Orientation Leader (OL) in order to be eligible to apply for the position of Coordinator and must be available for training prior to NSO. There are approximately 6-8 positions available.

Orientation Leader (OL)
OLs help new students move into their residence halls, assist with informational sessions, participate in new student activities and are available to answer general questions. OLs must attend training sessions prior to NSO and are required to serve through the duration of NSO. There are approximately 100 positions available.

Student Programming Board
The Student Programming Board is a committee of appointed Pepperdine student leaders dedicated to planning, organizing, and executing events that bring students together. The Board hosts campus events throughout the year, each designed to foster community and give students a college experience that is unique to being a Wave.

Inter-Club Council (ICC)
ICC Executive Board supports over 100 student organizations with classroom reservations, technological needs, brainstorming, leadership development, purchasing, and event support. ICC invests its portion of the Campus Life fee each semester in student clubs, retreats, event programming, and organization initiatives.

Student Government Association
SGA is dedicated to providing the students of Pepperdine University with quality representation through innovative advocacy programs. Governed by an elected executive board, class presidents, senators, and appointed directors, SGA has several committees that work with administrators, faculty, and staff across the University to address student needs.

Transfer Mentors
Transfer mentors are students who previously transferred to Pepperdine and want to serve the transfer population. During the fall and spring, they serve as orientation leaders, helping new students move in and transition to their new home. Throughout the year, they host transfer families and various transfer events.

Student Wellness Advisory Board
The Student Wellness Advisory Board seeks to promote health and wellness on campus through healthy minds, healthy bodies, and healthy communities. Our Healthy Minds branch partners with the Pepperdine Counseling Center to bring awareness to issues surrounding mental health and self-care. Our Healthy Bodies Branch partners with the Pepperdine Health Center and Campus Rec to promote overall physical wellness including nutrition, movement, and health care. Our Healthy Communities branch partners with Pepperdine’s Title IX Office to bring awareness to issues surrounding relationship violence and to advocate for healthy relationships.
