ICC E-Board

Students tabling for ICC on Alumni Park

Inter-club Council (ICC) serves over 90 clubs and organizations on campus. The role of the E-Board is to manage ICC’s portion of campus life fee as well as support the various clubs and organizations on-campus.

Requirements:

  • Must be in good standing with university
  • Must have a 2.5 GPA
  • Must be available for ICC Funding Meetings on Wednesdays, 9 - 11 AM
  • Must be or have been a member of a club on campus
  • Cannot serve on SGA, the Student Programming Board, SWAB, RA/SLA for HRL, and/or Hub for Spiritual Life
  • Must be available for training

E-Board Positions:

  ICC President

Main duties and responsibilities: 

  • Decide core values and vision of ICC for the academic year 
    • Priority is to oversee and facilitate implementation of these throughout the year
  • Meeting with club leaders to assist with event/funding requests 
  • Facilitating Tide Pools (the club fair) as well as ClubCon Training 
  • Meeting with new clubs and spearheading the registration process 
  • Assist with event request approvals 
  • Regularly meeting with various Student Affairs departments and other campus administrators 
  • Writing and sending mass emails to student leaders and club officers on a regular basis 
  • Assist Student Organizations Coordinator in facilitating in other ICC events (e.g. ICC elections, ICC awards, and Town halls)
  • Guide the ICC board during weekly funding meetings
  • Meet weekly with the Student Organizations Coordinator
  • 18-20 hours per week 
  ICC VP of Administration

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Approve event requests via Peppervine
  • Respond to emails sent in by club leaders to the ICC General inbox
  • Hold meetings with club leaders if they need help
  • Create the funding schedule for funding meetings
  • Take notes during funding meetings
  • Organize and deliver warehouse requests to the Student Organizations Coordinator for approval
  • Assist the ICC President when requested
  • Assist the Student Organizations Coordinator finding data on club events, registration numbers, rosters, and more
  • Meet weekly with the Student Organizations Coordinator
  • 12-15 hours per week
  ICC VP of Marketing

Main duties and responsibilities:  

  • Oversee promotional materials requests on Peppervine
  • Meeting with club leaders to assist with funding requests 
  • Respond to emails regarding publicity for clubs on-campus
  • Act as a liaison for clubs to print materials with the Printing Shop
  • Organize and track the budget for any promotional materials and poster requests
  • Create graphics for funding and event requests
  • Create graphics for Student Activities when requested by Student Organizations Coordinator
  • Manage ICC Instagram 
  • Create posters and merchandise for ICC events
  • Hold an official Pepperdine credit card 
    • Complete monthly relocations and substantiations
  • Meet weekly with the Student Organizations Coordinator
  • 10-14 hours per week
  ICC VP of Finance

Main duties and responsibilities: 

  • Manage, track, and allocate the official ICC budget
  • Oversee funding requests on Peppervine and payment for approved funding requests
  • Hold an official Pepperdine credit card 
    • Complete monthly relocations and substantiations
  • Meeting with club leaders to assist with funding requests and other funding related topics
  • Communicating with campus accountants and other administrators 
  • Work with Student Organizations Coordinator to complete purchases over $500
  • Prepare petty cash and mileage reimbursement forms
  • Assist Student Organizations Coordinator finding financial data
    • Meet weekly with the Student Organizations Coordinator
  • 15-18 hours per week
  ICC VP of External Affairs

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between clubs/organizations and ICC
  • Club Visitations
    • Attending club meetings
    • Meeting with the club’s executive e-board to ask them questions and listen to their concerns
      • Help advocate for groups to ICC in weekly meetings
      • Reach out to Advisors to get any clarification
    • Send out a survey after each meeting
    • Schedule meetings with club leaders if they need help
  • Emailing Clubs
    • Responding to ICC emails from the ICC general account
    • Send out mass emails to club leaders
  • Assist other ICC board members as needed
  • Inform the ICC board of how the clubs spend their time during meetings 
  • Coordinate weekly meetings with the Student Organizations Coordinator and club leaders
  • Meet weekly with the Student Organizations Coordinator
  • 10-12 hours per week
