Anchor Audio Equipment Instructions

Overview

Use the following step-by-step instructions to set up, configure, and strike the Anchor audio equipment.

Setup

  1. Unzip the back of both speaker covers and take the mics out of the side pocket.
  2. Lower the volume knobs on both speakers to prevent a loud pop sound when turned on.
    • The first volume knob is found under the Bluetooth volume knob on the Liberty 2 Speaker.
    • The second volume knob is the upper volume knob on the Air Companion Receiver Speaker.
  3. Flip the power switch on both speakers.
    • The first switch is located on the lower right corner of the Liberty 2 Speaker
    • The second switch is located at the lower center of the Air Companion Receiver Speaker.
    • When powered on, a line of orange/green lights should appear next to the "battery"
    • If the speaker does not power on, the battery may be depleted. The cable included can be used to charge the speakers from a power source.
  4. Press the power button on both speakers: the power button in the middle underneath “Air Companion Transmitter” on the Liberty 2 Speaker and the power button on the upper left corner of the Air Companion Receiver Speaker.
    • Once pressed, a blue display should appear.
    • This is to sync the speakers to each other.
  5. Rotate the volume knob of the Air Companion Receiver Speaker completely.
    • This speaker will not project any sound until the volume is raised on the Liberty 2 Speaker in step 6.
  6. Turn on mics by sliding the top switch on each mic to the right and a red light will indicate the mic is on and ready to pair.
  7. Rotate the volume knob of the Liberty 2 Speaker to desired volume.
    • Rotate clockwise to increase the volume; rotate counterclockwise to decrease the volume.
    • This should be done while the speaker and the mics have a red light, which will shortly turn green as they pair with each other.
    • If the red lights on the mics disappear, turn the mics off and on again.

Bluetooth Instructions

  1. Turn on bluetooth by slightly rotating the bluetooth volume knob on the upper left corner of the Liberty Speaker.
  2. Press the pairing button on the right of that same bluetooth volume knob.
    • Once pressed, a flashing blue light should appear.
  3. On your device, find and select “ANCHOR AUDIO V3.1”.
    • Once paired, the blue light should stop flashing.
  4. Rotate the bluetooth volume knob to desired volume.
    • Rotate clockwise to increase the volume; rotate counterclockwise to decrease the volume.
    • The upper volume knob on the Air Companion Receiver Speaker should be rotated completely if not already done so (see step 5 in Setting Up Procedure).

Congratulations! You have successfully set up an Anchor Audio System!

Take Down

  1. First, to turn off the mics, slide the top switch of each mic to the left and the green light should turn off.
  2. Lower the volume knobs on both speakers: the volume knob under the bluetooth volume knob on the Liberty 2 Speaker and the upper volume knob on the Air Companion Receiver Speaker.
    • This is a precaution to avoid a loud pop sound when the speakers are turned on/off.
  3. Lower the bluetooth volume knob on the Liberty 2 Speaker if bluetooth was used.
  4. To turn off the speakers, flip off the power switch on both speakers: lower right corner of the Liberty 2 Speaker and lower center of the Air Companion Receiver Speaker.
    • When successfully turned off, all displays and lights should be off.
  5. Zip up the backsides of both speaker covers and place the mics in a side pocket.
