VPN Access to Pepperdine Network Resources

Overview

VPN, or Virtual Private Network, is an application that allows approved Pepperdine employees to connect to the Pepperdine network from any internet connection worldwide. It is especially useful for users who need to remotely access Pepperdine network resources, such as campus-based computers or printers.

Prerequisites

  • Must be an active Pepperdine employee (faculty or staff, excluding student workers)
  • Must have a legitimate business purpose for remote network access
  • Must complete a VPN access request form (requires Pepperdine Google)
  • Must complete VPN security training (shared after form approval)

NOTE: You do not need the VPN to use Webex calling off-campus or access the Remote Access server. You also do not need the VPN if you are physically located on a Pepperdine campus and connected to the Pepperdine WiFi or wired network.

VPN Installation

If authorized to use the VPN, please select the appropriate option based on your computer type. Each option will direct you to the installer as well as installation and application instructions.
