Using the Modules Tool in Pepperdine Canvas

What Does Modules Do?

The Modules tool allows you to bring together the tools and resources of your course site into a single, streamlined, learning space.

How You Can Use It

  • You can structure your course site to sequence learning with weekly content and deliverables that combine Assignments, Quizzes, Announcements, Multimedia, and Pages into one flow so students don’t miss key components.
  • You can prevent students from wandering ahead by leveraging prerequisite tasks and/or time-release settings.
  • You can maximize student comprehension and ease of navigation by making sure to use clear and consistent module titles and text headers (e.g., “Week 3: The Scientific Method”).
