2016 Annual Review: Classroom AV Refresh
The Classroom AV Refresh was funded by the Provost office to renew the audio equipment in select Pepperdine classrooms. Many of the rooms we refreshed had outdated technology that was installed many years ago, and we are continuing our efforts to raise money to complete the project and bring new equipment to classroom.

With classroom technology at the core of the learning environment on campus, The Provost Office donated funds to upgrade the audio and visual equipment in select classrooms, and Pepperdine IT played a critical role in rolling out the new equipment.
Specifically, our AV Technology and Client Services groups worked hard to bring laser LED projectors to the classrooms, that are brighter, clearer, and last longer.
Analog systems are also being phased out as new digital Audio/Visual technologies dominate current classroom designs.
While many rooms have been updated, there is still significant work that needs to be done to bring the entire University up to our current standard. Pepperdine IT continues to seek funding to upgrade rooms and unify the teaching experience for faculty.
