First Week Tech Checklist

Overview

Welcome to Pepperdine! Follow these steps with common tech resources to make your transition to the Pepperdine network smooth and simplified. 

Step 1: Connect to the Internet

To connect to the Internet, you will need to register your computer. Registering your computer through WavesConnect is a quick and easy process. Most computers will automatically redirect you to WavesConnect upon your initial connection to the Pepperdine network. 

Step 2: Add Your Email to a Mobile Device

If you have a mobile phone or device capable of accessing the Internet, you can set up your Pepperdine email to go directly to your phone. In addition, you can access the Pepperdine wireless network from your mobile device. 

Step 3: Log into Courses

Courses is a course management system. It will be used by your professors to post grades, resources, and assignments.
